WoW Leveling Zones – 1-85 Quick Leveling Areas
With the release of Cataclysm, many of the original World of Warcraft zones have been revamped and some old quest lines removed to make room for new, refreshing quests. The leveling system has also been adjusted to allow for faster leveling.

After creating a character, a player is automatically taken to a unique starting zone that is different for each race, with the exception of dwarves and gnomes, who start in the same place. It is probably best to go straight there, as it provides more experience, unless you are interested in farming reputation in any of the other areas listed. There are fewer questing zones in Outland but more quests in each area.
