WoW Alliance Leveling Guide World of Warcraft Cataclysm Leveling Tips For Alliance Players.

WoW Alliance Leveling Guide Helped Me Quickly Level 1-85 In Only 4 Days Played

I've been playing World of Warcraft for over 4 years, but have always struggled with leveling alts. I have a lot of fun playing on my main character (PvP, raiding, etc), but it gets old... and leveling is just too painstaking to even attempt the 1-85 grind.

For years I watched as my friends on the game leveled their alts in no time flat, and played them when they were bored with their main. Some of these guys leveled characters like it was TOO easy, and when I saw my guildmate level 1-85 in less than one month, I knew there had to be something I was missing.

That's Where My Alliance Leveling Guide Story Begins

Every time I asked them for the secrets, they kept them tight and wouldn't reveal where they got the information. Apparently it was just "all from their head", and they "weren't using a WoW leveling guide"... ya right... remembering hundreds of quests and exactly where to go each time? Doesn't sound like an easy thing to do to me.

Finally, after nearly quitting the game because I was so bored of my main toon (...and can't stand grinding / leveling), I decided to take my search for Warcraft leveling knowledge to the Internet, and see if I could find something to assist me in leveling faster.

I found cataclysm leveling guide review sites all over the place, but it seemed like everyone was just screaming at me, "It doesn't matter which product is better, just buy one!" (My guess is they just wanted to make a quick buck)... But I wanted to know which WoW guide was REALLY the best available on the market.

I knew what I had to do, and I didn't hesitate, I just did it. I researched the top World of Warcraft leveling guides that offered a 60 day money back guarantee, and decided that which ever 2 guides I didn't like I would just return.

Ends up I bought the only 3 guides I found that fit my "criteria" for the best alliance leveling guide.

My criteria was based on a few simple categories including:

  • Quest Paths
  • User Interface
  • Accuracy
  • Leveling Speed

After testing all 3 top WoW alliance leveling guide products, I can honestly say that only one WoW addon set itself out from the competitors...

Dugi's Ultimate World of Warcraft Guide

Dugi Guides are top quality and the user-interface was flawless. Within only a few minutes I had the addon installed and I was ready to start leveling immediately.

Truth be told, there is no "automated push button" alliance level guide, and you DO still have to do the grinding / leveling... It's just WAY easier (honestly, it's hard to belive until you try the guide for yourself).

I did end up returning Zygor Guides and Booster Leveling Guide, but I must say they were both quality leveling guides (I liked Zygor more out of the two). Heck, Beginner World of Warcraft players might even like Zygor Guides better, at least a few of my friends did when they first started.

I thought the other alliance leveling guide addons were high quality and worth checking out, but Dugi's Ultimate WoW Guide was hands down my overall favorite.

Give the WoW lvl guide a shot today, and if you don't see results within 60 days, I'll either personally help you with problems, or make sure you get a 100% no questions asked refund.

WoW Leveling Zones – 1-85 Quick Leveling Areas

With the release of Cataclysm, many of the original World of Warcraft zones have been revamped and some old quest lines removed to make room for new, refreshing quests. The leveling system has also been adjusted to allow for faster leveling.

After creating a character, a player is automatically taken to a unique starting zone that is different for each race, with the exception of dwarves and gnomes, who start in the same place. The questing here is simple pick up each quest, and when needed, the questgiver will be able to point you in the right direction.

After finishing all the starting quests without need of a World of Warcraft leveling guide, players are pointed to secondary towns, where they usually quest to approximately level 10. From there, the process becomes more complex as the options for leveling zones start to build up. A general guideline on where to go next is as follows:

Level 10-20

  • Westfall (Alliance)
  • Bloodmyst Isle (Alliance)
  • Darkshore (Alliance)
  • Loch Modan (Alliance)
  • Azshara (Horde)
  • Ghostlands (Horde)
  • Northern Barrens (Horde)
  • Silverpine Forest (Horde)
  • Ruins of Gilneas (requires level 14, Horde and Alliance)
  • Redridge Mountains (requires level 15, Alliance)

After reaching level 20, more options open up. From this point on, zones are no longer for Horde or Alliance only. Questgivers can also help point players to the next area. Often times, this is around the time when players start considering the best WoW leveling guide to help them breeze through these levels.

Level 20-25

  • Ashenvale
  • Duskwood
  • Wetlands
  • Hillsbrad Foothills

Level 25-30

  • Northern Stranglethorn
  • Arathi Highlands
  • Stonetalon Mountains

Level 30-35

  • Desolace
  • Hinterlands
  • Cape of Stranglethorn
  • Southern Barrens

Level 35-40

  • Feralas
  • Western Plaguelands
  • Dustwallow Marsh

Level 40-45

  • Thousand Needles
  • Eastern Plaguelands

Level 45-50

  • Badlands
  • Felwood
  • Tanaris
  • Searing Gorge (requires level 48)

Level 50-60

  • Burning Steppes
  • Winterspring
  • Un'Goro Crater
  • Swamp of Sorrows (requires level 52)
  • Blasted Lands (requires level 54)
  • Scarlet Enclave (Death Knight starting place, Death Knights only)
  • Deadwind Pass (requires level 55)
  • Moonglade (requires level 55)
  • Silithus (requires level 55)

When considering the areas that go all the way to level 60, it is important to remember that at level 58, players can start questing in Outland, which requires the Burning Crusade expansion.

It is probably best to go straight there, as it provides more experience, unless you are interested in farming reputation in any of the other areas listed. There are fewer questing zones in Outland but more quests in each area.

Level 58-70

  • Hellfire Peninsula
  • Zangarmarsh (requires level 60)
  • Terokkar Forest (requires level 62)
  • Nagrand (requires level 64)
  • Blade's Edge Mountains (requires level 65)
  • Netherstorm (requires level 67)
  • Shadowmoon Valley (requires level 67)
  • Isle of Quel'Danas (requires level 68)

Once at level 68, players can access Northrend with the Wrath of the Lich King expansion, which opens up the following zones:

Level 68-80

  • Howling Fjord
  • Borean Tundra
  • Dragonblight (requires level 71)
  • Grizzly Hills (requires level 73)
  • Zul'Drak (requires level 74)
  • Scholazar Basin (requires level 76)
  • Crystalsong Forest (requires level 77)
  • Icecrown (requires level 77)
  • Wintergrasp (requires level 77, PvP area that will cause you to be flagged)

At 80, the Cataclysm expansion will allow players to visit these following areas:

Level 80-85

  • Mount Hyjal
  • Vashj'ir (this area is underwater, which sometimes complicates things)
  • Deepholm (requires level 82)
  • Uldum (requires level 83)
  • Twilight Highlands (requires level 84)

Some other helpful tips...

  • Don't forget to set your hearthstone to the place of your choosing
  • Food and drinks are helpful to have on hand at all times
  • In addition to questing, completing dungeons can also provide experience
  • Battlegrounds are another way to get experience (these are PvP combat zones with unique goals)
  • Joining a guild can give you extra perks, such as an experience and rep gain increase
